Messages home can be received by voice call, email or text message. Each user can define how they want to receive messages by message category. Students can have an unlimited number of parents and guardians so that everyone who needs to know can get their own copy of the message. You can also use Aeries Communication to initiate a direct message with one of your student's teachers.
Aeries Communication is also focused more around instant communication rather than daily aggregate calls. Messages default to being sent immediately, unless scheduled. Please consider this when setting your notification preferences.
Accessing Aeries Communication from the Aeries Portal
When you log into the Aeries Parent Portal, Aeries Communication can be accessed via the Communication link next to home in the menu bar. Additionally, there is a Aeries Communications box displayed with Notification Preferences. These preferences can stop you from getting any messages at all, I we do not recommend changing them. Instead change your preferences withing Aeries Communication by following the instructions in the how to video "Notification Settings."
Accessing Aeries Communication from the Aeries App
When you open the Aeries App on your iOS or Android device, Aeries Communication is at the bottom of the menu List. This will take you into the Communication app where you can access anything you could access from a computer.
